Services for Lee Roy Jones, Jr., 53, of Shepherd, Texas, will be held Sunday, October 1, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas and will be officiated by Bro. Nathan Hendrix. Interment will follow at Farley Chapel Cemetery in Shepherd, Texas. Visitation will be held Saturday, September 30 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel.

Lee was born January 12, 1970, in Houston, Texas and passed away September 22, 2023 in Liberty, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lee Roy Jones and Janadel (Groze) Jones; and stepson, Dannon Beaty.

He is survived by his wife, Samantha Van amp of Shepherd, Texas; stepson, Joshua Beaty of Shepherd, Texas; sister, Delores Guinn and husband Tommy of Cleveland, Texas; and brother, Galen Jones of Shepherd, Texas; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Cochran Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
