Funeral services for Lee Ola Laird, 100, of Livingston, Texas will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 3, 2014 at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Mike Meadows officiating. Interment will follow at Center Grove Cemetery in Polk County, Texas. Visitation will begin at 1:00 P.M. until service time on Monday.
Lee Ola Laird was born on December 10, 1913 in Livingston, Texas and passed away on January 30, 2014 in Livingston, Texas. She worked as an LVN for numerous hospitals and schools. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Lee and Ola (Kimes) Duff; husband, Sherman C. Laird; and sisters, Dollie Farmer, Lucille Clay, Marie Repp and Margaret Campbell.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and Bob Claiborne of Greensboro, NC; son, James Laird of Livingston, TX; grandchildren, Cheryl Claiborne of Greensboro, NC, Debra Peskin of Stewartsville, NJ, and Molly Claiborne-Iskorkutan of Taipei, Taiwan; great-grandchildren, Amanda Spence of Greensboro, NC, Samantha Peskin of Stewartsville, NJ, Max Peskin of Stewartsville, NJ, Eren Iskorkutan of Taipei, Taiwan, and Yasemin Iskorkutan of Taipei, Taiwan; great-great-grandson, Parker Spence of Greensboro, NC; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
