Funeral services for Lela Faye Moncrief, 85, of Point Blank, Texas, will be held Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska, Texas with Dr. Bryan Baggett officiating. Interment will follow in the Center Hill Cemetery in Oakhurst, Texas. Visitation will be held Friday, March 9, 2018, from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Onalaska, Texas.

Mrs. Moncrief was born March 4, 1933 in Hughes Springs, Texas to parents, Wylie McDaniel and Mamie (Odell) McDaniel and passed away March 6, 2018 in Montgomery, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill Broom; husband, J.W. Moncrief; daughter, Debbie Lahman; and 8 brothers and sisters, Oran, Charles, Ray, Joe, Ella, Margie, Joyce, and Bobby.

She is survived by her daughter, Angela Bush and Kenneth of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; son, Robert Barrett of Houston, Texas; son, Paul Barrett of Point Blank, Texas; 5 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and sister, Elizabeth Dudley of Hughes Springs, Texas; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
