Lelon Edward Walters age 82 of Livingston passed away peacefully at his home Tuesday May 25, 2010. Funeral services will be held Thursday May 27, 2010 at 2:00PM in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Heuermann and Rev. Tim Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in the Peebles Cemetery.

Lelon was born September 5, 1927 in Goodrich to parents Oscar B. Walters and Agnes Moffett Walters. He worked for many years as a lineman working for Central Power & Lighting. Lelon is preceded in death by his parents, wife E. Clarice Walters, and sisters Ola Mae Vailes and Shirley Melton.

He is survived by his brother James Walters and wife Wynona of Livingston, sister Geraldine White and husband Hugh of Goodrich, sons and daughter in laws James E. ""Jim"" Walters and wife Suzy of Bay City, Joseph M. ""Joe"" Walters of Providence, David Walters and wife Amber of Goodrich, Daryl Walters and wife Terry of Goodrich, grandchildren Keith Watlers and wife Heather of Bay City, Michael Hill and wife Huda of Livingston, BC Compton and wife Natasha of Livingston, Sydney Walters of Goodrich, Rylan Walters of Providence, Trenton Kirkland of Providence, Drake Kirkland of Providence, great grandchildren Mar Walters of Bay City, Asher Walters of Bay City, Heaven Compton of Livingston, Blake Compton of Livingston, Nicholas Abdallah of Livingston, Kristina Abdallah of Livingston and Britney Lawrence of Bay Shore.

Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Hill, BC Compton, Nicholas Abdallah, Shawn Nichls, Robert Lantrip, Andrew Lantrip, Cullen Vailes, David Melton, and Keith Walters.
