Funeral services for Lena Francis ""Fran"" Knox, age 69 of Shepherd, Texas will be held Tuesday February 1, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston with Bro. Richard Fontenette officiating and interment to follow in the Farley Chapel Cemetery in Shepherd, Texas. Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM, Monday, January 31, 2011 at the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston.

Fran was born August 20, 1941 in Houston, Texas the daughter of William Plesant Thomas Knox and Margaret Lucille Parsons Rather and went to be with the Lord on January 27, 2011 in a nursing facility in Houston. She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Mary Ann Aubert, and sisters, Wilma Janet Barker, and Caroline Lucille Knox.

She is survived by Helen Burleson & husband C.W., sister and brother in law of Shepherd, Margaret Ann Moore, sister of Colorado, Billie Sarah Anthony, sister of Houston, Texas, William H. Rather, III, brother of The Woodlands, Theresa Diana Middleton, daughter of Bryan, Kathy Kirby, daughter of Madisonville, Texas. Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends also survive.
