Funeral services for Leonard Ray Davis, 75, of Livingston, Texas, will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Pastor Mike Meadows officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in the Barnum Community of Polk County. Visitation will begin at 5:00 P.M. on Monday, December 28, 2015 at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas.

Mr. Davis was born on August 18, 1940 in Murphy, North Carolina and passed away on December 25, 2015 in Conroe, Texas. For many years of his life he was the owner of Penwaugh Camp Ground. He is preceded in death by his parents Carl M. and Mary Jane (Hooper) Davis; his wife, Phyllis Elizabeth (Stirling) Davis; niece, Donna Smith.

Leonard in survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Mary Elizabeth Ferguson and James of Moscow, Texas; son and daughter- in-law, Jack Davis and Celia of Livingston, Texas; granddaughter and husband, Lori Hight and Kevin of Moscow, Texas; grandson and wife, Joshua Barnett and Hannah of Shreveport, Louisiana; great-grandchildren, Kylie and Lucas Hight of Moscow, Texas; sisters, Audrey Smith of Conroe, Texas; Garey Pettit and Millard of Conroe, Texas; nephew Greg Smith and Lisa; great-nephew, Eric Long; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Leonard will be escorted to his grave by pallbearers, Jack Davis, Josh Barnett, James Ferguson, Greg Smith, Roger Goodfellow and Millard Pettit
