Obituary
Graveside services for Lester Leroy Hurtt Jr., 80, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 in the First Baptist Church in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Orval Barger, Rev. Brett Lester, and Bro. Kevan Wood officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. on Monday, June 6, 2016 in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Mr. Hurtt was born November 20, 1935 in Crockett, Texas to parents, Lester Leroy Hurtt Sr. and Ruby (Morgan) Hurtt, and passed away on June 3, 2016 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Myrna Hurtt of Livingston, Texas; sons and daughters-in-law, Preston Alan and Bing Hurtt of Jacksonville, Florida, and Lee and Casey Hurtt of Cleveland, Texas; granddaughter and husband, Savannah and Brenden Currin of Porter, Texas; grandson and wife, Kyle Alan and Nicole Hurtt of Newport News, Virginia; grandsons, Colin Hurt, Ty Hurtt, and Torin Hurtt all of Cleveland, Texas; great-granddaughter, Evelynn Currin of Porter, Texas; great-grandsons, Cade Currin of Porter, Texas and Liam Alan Hurtt of Newport News, Virginia; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
Honorary Pallbearers: Alan Cook, Harry Kemp, Joe Puckett, John D. Clifton, John Frank Clifton, Jack Smogaliski, Jim McKissick, Deacons of the First Baptist Church
