Bill was born November 21, 1953 in Liverpool, England and passed away April 14, 2024 in Shepherd, Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Yates; parents, Russell D. Yates and Irene (Fairhurst) Yates; and brother, Brian Jackson.

He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Darrell Murphy of Livingston, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Colleen and Glenn Goodwin of Livingston, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Travis Christoph Sr. and Angie of Livingston, Texas; granddaughters, Tasha Wiginton of Taylor, Texas, and Autumn Christoph of Livingston, Texas; grandson, Travis Christoph Jr. of Livingston, Texas; 6 great grandchildren; and special longtime friend, Von Marie Ware of Livingston; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
