Funeral services for Letha Virginia Meadows, 71, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Friday, November 5, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Billy Stutts officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the service begins at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home.

Mrs. Meadows was born April 20, 1950 in Houston, Texas, to parents, Joe Robert Bennight and Clara Oretha (Carlisle) Bennight, and passed away November 2, 2021 in Livingston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Melvin Wayne Meadows Sr.; and granddaughter, Nadale Nicole Meadows.

She is survived by her son, Melvin Wayne Meadows Jr.; daughter-in-law, Tina Meadows; sons, James Meadows and wife, Valerie, and Joe Allen Meadows all of Livingston; daughter, Donna Forrester of Nacogdoches; grandchildren, Dustin Wayne Meadows, Dalton Ray Meadows, Chelsea LeAnne Meadows, Andrea Danielle Meadows, Carson Dell Myers, and Matthew Downs; great-grandson, Dalton Ray Meadows Jr.; brothers, Joe Robert Bennight Jr. and wife, Karen of Dayton, Richard Bennight and wife, Sally of Sargent, and Allen Thomas Bennight and wife, Wanda of New Caney; and sisters, Elizabeth Poland of Saratoga, Grace Renee Burks and husband, Carl of Livingston, and Emma Stutts and husband, Billy of Goodrich; along with numerous other relatives and many friends.
