Funeral services for Lillian Louise Heron, 78, formerly of Livingston and Onalaska, Texas, will be held Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Allen Bramlett officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the service begins at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 11th. Interment will be held Thursday, September 12, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in the Houston National Cemetery.

Mrs. Heron was born May 15, 1941 in Taylor, Pennsylvania, to parents, David Hunter and Lillian (Slutter) Hunter and passed away September 6, 2019 in Lufkin, Texas. During her life, Ms. Lillian worked at Big Star Grocery, Livingston Memorial Hospital as an emergency room clerk and for Putt Watson Motor Company as well as Bounds Autoplex as a service writer.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Heron; daughter, Kelly Ann Heron; sisters, Jean and Marion; and brother, David.

She is survived by her daughter, Sue Bates; son, John Heron and wife, Lynn; and grandsons, Nick Bates and wife, Kelsey, and J.T. Bates; along with numerous other relatives, and friends.
