Funeral services for Lillian Aline Weeks, age 98 of Livingston will be held Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at 11:00 am at the First United Methodist Church in Livingston with Rev. James Frazier, Dr. Don Willis, Rev. Mike Mayhew and Bro. Paul Woodworth officiating and interment to follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Owen, Bob Cook, Bubba Watson, Cecil Langston, Glen Blessman and Lee Denham. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Crafty Ladies and her Bible Study Class.
She was born September 29, 1912 in Groveton, Texas the daughter of Oscar Parker and Lillie McBee Parker and passed away April 3, 2011 in Livingston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents and he husband of 63 years, B.C. Weeks.
Miss Lillian was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Livingston, and she was also a member of the following organizations; The Crafty Ladies, The Red Hat Club, D.M.A., Manafest, a life member of the P.T.A., and was a member of several other committees of the church.
She is survived by Margie and Sam Gordon, daughter and son in law of Livingston, Everett & Dorothy Parker, brother and sister in law of Livingston, Whitney & Lloyd Blankenship, granddaughter and husband of Austin, Samantha & Doug Rine, granddaughter and husband of Pensacola, Florida, Holland Rine, great granddaughter of Pensacola, Florida, Grayson Rine, great grandson of Pensacola, Florida and Jewel McCauley, sister in law.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church Building Fund or the First United Church Van Fund.
