Funeral services for Lillie M. Carter, 81, of Livingston, Texas will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, April 14, 2014 at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Harold Isaacs officiating. Interment will follow at Peebles Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held at 6:00 PM, Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mrs. Carter was born on October 12, 1932 in Garrison, Texas and passed away on April 11, 2014 in Livingston, Texas. She was a member of the VFW Auxilary #1839 in Cleveland, Texas and a member of Beacon Bay Baptist Church in Livingston, Texas. She married Albert Carter on March 23, 1953 in Livingston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Rose (Hutto) Powers; husband, Albert Carter; brother, Homer Powers; sisters, Pauline Lee, Luella McNease Jacobs, and Nita Powers; and granddaughter, Cierra McCoy.

She is survived by her son, Charles Allen Carter of Livingston, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn McCauley and Richard of Humble, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Linda Sullivan and James of Livingston, Texas; grandchildren, Amanda McCoy, Carrie Gibbs, Joshua Warren, and Jennifer and husband, Jim Chancey; great-grandchildren, Michael, Sadie, Ty, and Mason McCoy, Katelynn Gibbs, Brooke Willson, Jayleigh and Lane Warren, and Autumn Chancey; sister, Leoma Neil of Garrison, Texas; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
