Memorial service for Linda Blakeney, 74, of Point Blank, Texas, will be held Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Point Blank Community Church in Point Blank, Texas with Rev. Don Davis officiating. Visitation will held June 12, 2015 in the Cochran Funeral Home in Onalaska, Texas from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Mrs. Blakeney was born January 24, 1941 in Fernwood, Mississippi to parents, Andrew Wilson and Catherine (Blackwell) Wilson, and passed away June 8, 2015 in Point Blank, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Frances Reeves, Voncile Clay, and Willa O'Connor.

She is survived by her husband, Hugh Blakeney of Point Blank, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Zahyrah Blakeney of Cypress, Texas; son, Steve Blakeney of Houston, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Rex and Doris Wilson of Ellisville, Mississippi; grandsons, Christopher Blakeney and Brett Blakeney both of Houston, Texas; granddaughter, Sophia Blakeney of Cypress, Texas; and numerous other relatives and friends.
