Funeral services for Linda Kathleen Edge Faubion, 68, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Kenneth Pippin officiating. Interment will follow in the Felps Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. in Thicket, Texas. Visitation will be held Friday, May 12, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Linda was born May 11, 1948 in Liberty, Texas to parents, James Bernard Edge and Velma Mae (Perkins) Edge, and passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on May 9, 2017 at her home after a long time illness. She was a homemaker but in addition to being a homemaker and mother to her two sons, Linda managed the office of a family owned lumber company for many years. She became a CNA in 2010 the then completed her Medication Aide certification also in 2010. She is preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Joyce Shirley.
Linda was an avid reader, loved to hunt and fish, and go to resale shops and garage sales. She could shop all day and come home with a must have $5.00 treasure. Linda was known for her sweet spirit and always had a smile for friends and strangers alike. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family, and all who knew her.
She is survived by her son, Paul Michael Oliver of Livingston, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Brandon Clint Oliver and Cathy of Livingston, Texas; grandchildren, Ashlee Oliver, Sarah Oliver, Cade Oliver, Taylor Oliver, Kimberly Oliver; great grandchildren, Hollister and Shawn; sister, Geri Martin of Livingston, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Bernard Charles "Buddy" and Sue Edge of Segno, Texas; niece, Debbie Herklotz of Huntsville, Texas; long-time friend, Donald McKay of Willis, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers: Casey Guidry, David Stewart, Jake Cotton, Marshall Herklotz, Chris Martin, Russell Watts.
