Mrs. Linda Sue Rue Howell, 69, of Goodrich, Texas, was born February 14, 1952 in Delta, Colorado to parents, Gorden Holton and Betty (Kingery) Patterson, and passed away April 12, 2021 in Goodrich, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Cedric Rue; daughter, Jenny Lou Rue; brother, Victor Smith; and sister, Jen Ulrich.

She is survived by her husband, Anthony Howell, sister and brother-in-law, Jerry and Denise Allen; brother and sister-in-law, Dobbie and Angie Patterson; daughter-in-law, Misty Rue; granddaughter, Skyler Rue; grandson, Savan Rue; great-granddaughter, Elajiah Jaide White; great-grandson, Russell Paul Kitzmiller; sister-in-law, Pricilla Burkes Barnes; nephews, Ben Ellison, Luke Allen, Steven Smith; niece, Allegra Jone; nephews, Garrett Patterson, Wyatt Patterson, and Morgan Patterson; niece, Sheila Manley; and nephew, Eric Watkins; along with numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
