Services for Lloyd Glenn Miller, 79, of Onalaska, Texas, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 15, 2023 at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska, Texas. Interment will follow at Grace Memorial Park Cemetery in Santa Fe, Texas. Visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel on the day of service.

Lloyd, who was an avid history and military buff, loved to pitch and play softball and loved hunting, was born August 3, 1943 in Houston, Texas and passed away July 10, 2023 in Conroe, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Broaddus Spurgeon Miller and Lorene (Morton) Miller; brothers, Jerry Lynn Miller, James Miller, and Johnny Miller; and niece, Glenda McCabe.

He is survived by his loving wife, Idahlia Miller of Onalaska, Texas; sister, Doris Cooper of Porter, Texas; nephew, Billy Manes; nieces, Paula Canton and husband Nick, Debbie Davis, and Julie Brown; nephew, James "Bubba" Miller; niece, Carrie Bothman; and nephew, Mike Cooper; numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Sally Miller; as well as several other loved ones and many good friends.

Lloyd and Boots have lived in Onalaska for over 29 years. They have loved living there and made so many cherished friends in that community. Their family would like to acknowledge their friends and neighbors in the community that have done so much for them, especially in the last year. Lloyd enjoyed and looked forwarded to his morning coffee group with his good friends.  I'd venture to guess there were many conversations about fishing, politics and of course the military. Lloyd was very proud of his time in the Army.
