A graveside service for Lois Mae Elam Rhodes, 95, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Monday, July 10, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. in the Holly Grove Cemetery in Segno, Texas with Bro. Harold Isaacs officiating.

Mrs. Rhodes was born October 4, 1927 in Livingston, Texas and passed away July 6, 2023 in Livingston, Texas. She was a member of First Baptist Church Livingston and active in WMA's. She love the Lord, her family, cooking and her dachshunds. She is preceded in death by her parents; Elbert Elvan Elam and Mary Elizabeth "Bessie" (Hendrix) Elam; husband, Emmett Roy Rhodes Sr.; and sister, Evelyn Elam.

She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Marilyn and Tony Taylor of Livingston, Texas, and Julie and David Artherholt of Huntsville, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Emmett Roy and Debbie Rhodes of Katy, Texas; grandchildren, Megan Lee Taylor Rabalais and Chris of Lafayette, Louisiana, Michael Emmett Taylor of Willis, Texas, Dana Michelle McAdams and Cole of Huntsville, Texas; great grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth Rabalais, Madison Lee Rabalais, Charles Anthony "Charlie" Rabalais, Katherine Mae Rabalais, Viola Mae Taylor, Miles Emmett Taylor, Colton Ray "Colt" McAdams, Casey Emmett McAdams; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Special thanks to Pine Ridge Nursing Home and Gentiva Hospice staff for the loving care they gave Mom.
