Funeral services for Lometa Fay Hopson King, 91, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Sunday, May 1, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Jason McGowen officiating. Interment will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery in Onalaska, Texas. Visitation will be held Saturday, April 30, 2022, from 5:00 - 7:00 a.m., in the Cochran Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lometa was born July 20, 1930, in Livingston, Texas, to parents, Milam Jesse Hopson and Martha Lorana (Pogue) Hopson, and passed away April 26, 2022 in Livingston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lonnie Edward King; sons, Eddie King and Butch King; son-in-law, Tony Pike; and granddaughter, Amy Pike.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Susan King of Woodlake, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Martha Massey and Rick of Livingston, Texas; daughter, Peggy Pike of Livingston, Texas; grandchildren, Jennifer Woods, Jody King, Donnie King, Richard Massey Jr., Rusty Massey and wife Danielle, Zakaree King and wife Christina, Jacob Pike and wife Sharee, and Samantha Dingman and husband Gary; 22 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; brother, Dan Hopson of Livingston, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, M.J. and Sharon Hopson of Livingston, Texas; and sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Elbert Lee of Livingston, Texas; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
