Funeral Services for Lonnie Edward King, age 88, of Livingston, were held Friday, March 24, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston with Bro. Lewis Jones officiating. Interment followed in the Magnolia Cemetery in Onalaska. Pallbearers were Richard Massey, Jr., Rusty Massey, Jacob Pike, Zackaree King, Lynn Hopson, and Tommy Hopson. Visitation was held Thursday evening from 5:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Lonnie was born February 22, 1924 in Abilene, Texas the son of Alf and Mary King and passed away on March 21, 2012 in Livingston. He is survived by his loving wife, Lometa (Hopson) King of Livingston; son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Susan King of Woodlake; daughters and sons-in-law, Martha and Rick Massey and Peggy and Tony Pike, all of Livingston; grandchildren, Jennifer Woods, Jody King, Donnie King, Richard Massey, Jr., Rusty Massey, Jacob Pike, Samantha Dingman, and Zackaree King; great-grandchildren, Lonnie King, Rachel Baldridge, Misty Massey, Tiffany Baldridge, Madison Massey, Joey Smith, Trey Massey, Christopher King, Katelyn Massey, Clayton King, Hannah Pike, Alyssa King, Jaden Pike, Jasmine Woods, Jacob Pike, Jr., Logan King, Lema King. Numerous other relatives and friends, also survive.
