Funeral services for Lonnie Joe Vaughn age 91, of Point Blank, Texas will be held Tuesday February 9, 2010 at 11:00AM at the First Baptist Church Of Point Blank with Pastor Mickey Fountain and Pastor Lloyd Lowe officiating interment to follow in the Center Hill Cemetery in Oakhurst, Texas. Pallbearers will be the IAH Honor Guard.

He was born November 11, 1918 in Oakhurst, Texas the son of Jesse Vaughn and Laura Vaughn and went home to be with the Lord on February 2, 2010 in Livingston, Texas. He was preceded to heaven by, his parents, Jesse & Laura Vaughn, brothers Claude, Nathan, Quinan and Desaw Vaughn, sister Edna Weaver, daughter Maxine Henson, son in law, Milton Henson and great grandchild, Elizabeth.

He is survived by his wife Elsie Vaughn, brother, Edward Vaughn, sister, Effie Walker, daughter, Janet Clay & Husband Tim, son, Richard Vaughn, he is also survived by his grandchildren, Steven, Dylan, Kaitlyn, Destiny, Makayla Henson, Ashley & Zoe White, Blake, Cody, Brooke Weber & Justin Steinert, and his great grandchild, Braedyn Henson.
