Funeral services for Lorene F. White, 98, of Deer Park, Texas will be held Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas with Frank Minter officiating. Interment will follow in the Peebles Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday, October 24, 2015 in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Mrs. White was born May 7, 1917 in Corsicana, Texas to parents, John Alfred Frazier and Cora Nellie (Young) Frazier and passed away October 20, 2015 in Deer Park, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank White; her parents; and 11 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her son, John White and wife, Noemi of La Marque, Texas; daughter, Norma Minter and husband, James of Deer Park, Texas; daughter, Sharon Roberts and husband, Larry of Houston, Texas; daughter, Donna Moser and husband, Ken of Lufkin, Texas; special niece, Billy Ruth Howard of Mount Belview, Texas; 4 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
Mrs. White was a person of deep Christian faith whose adult life focused on her husband and the rearing the four children she loved so dearly. In her later years, she especially enjoyed being introduced to new grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. If you wanted to see her laugh, all you needed to do was to show her a picture of a new baby or, better still, put that baby in her lap for a closer look. After a visit, her parting words would be, "Say hello to one and all and just know that you are much loved."
