Obituary
Memorial services for Louie Dee Armstrong, 70, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Military Honors will be provided by VFW Post #8568.
Mr. Armstrong was born September 1, 1946 in Memphis, Texas to parents, George Henry Armstrong and Jo Vivian (Danniell) Armstrong, and passed away March 27, 2017 in Livingston, Texas. During his life, he proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Mike Armstrong; and step-father, Smokey.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Armstrong of Livingston, Texas; son, George Armstrong of Livingston, Texas; daughter, Carla Jo Morrison and husband, Michael of Livingston, Texas; daughter, Karen Vyvjala and husband, Stephen of Livingston, Texas; sister, Faye Scharper and husband, "Too Tall" of League City, Texas; grandchildren, Ryan, Mallory, Justin, Alyssa, Russ, Julie, Eric, Josh, Sarah, Hannah, and Jonathan; great-grandchildren, Landon and Ansley; and his beloved dog, Annie; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
