Funeral services for Louis Contreras, 77, of Onalaska, Texas, will be held Thursday, June 8, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Deacon Bob officiating. Interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas.

Mr. Contreras was born October 2, 1945 in Houston, Texas and passed away May 30, 2023 in Onalaska, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Louis Cena Contreras and Eugenia (Cardenas) Contreras; and former wife, Bonnie Lou Contreras.

He is survived by his daughter, Christina Pegoda and Brian of Huntsville, Texa; son, Joe Contreras of St. Louis, Michigan; son, Phillip Contreras of Houston, Texas; Roxann Contreras of Houston, Texas; son, Louis Contreras III of Houston, Texas; daughter, Ann Marie Contreras of Houston, Texas; daughter, Candence Contreras of Vidor, Texas; and numerous grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
