Graveside services for Lucian Travis Watkins, 97, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Friday, August 29, 2025, at 10:30 a.m., at the Peebles Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Friday, August 29, 2025, from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home located at 406 Yaupon Ave., Livingston, Texas.

Mr. Watkins was born March 19, 1928, in Robert Lee, Texas and passed away August 21, 2025, in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Merrell Evan Watkins and Ida Josephine (Holt) Watkins; wife, Dorothy Watkins; brothers, Edgar Watkins, Kenneth Watkins, Bogard Watkins, Garland Watkins, Robert Watkins, and Ross Watkins; and sisters, Gladys Millican, Irene Trowbridge, Inez Martin, Sue Millican, and Josephine Watkins.

He is survived by his son, Travis Watkins and Judy of San Antonio, Texas; son, Erick Watkins and Julie of Shepherd, Texas; daughter, Sue Gosch of Texas; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
