Lula Jean McPherson age 85 of Livingston passed away Tuesday August 18, 2009 in the Pineridge Nursing Home. Funeral services will be Thursday August 20, 2009 at 10:00AM in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Frank Hood officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster at 3:00PM.

Lula was born May 19, 1924 in Abilene to parents James Fairbanks and Henrietta Lumpkin Fairbanks. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Ruby Hailey and brother Henry Fairbanks.

She is survived by her daughters Alma Duff and husband Carl of Trinity, Kathy Hightower and husband Edward of Santa Fe, grandchildren Richard Brian Duff, James Daryl Duff, and Paula Lynn Perez, great grandchildren Brianna Duff, Ethan Duff, Joseph Perez, Jordan Perez, Blake Hightower, and Catherine Garza. She is also survived by her devoted friend Candy Donner.
