Funeral services for Luris Milena Baskin, 86, of Livingston, Texas will be held Sunday, April 24, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., in the First Baptist Church in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Kevan Wood officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 until the service begins at 2:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will be held Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at 4:00 p.m., in the Brite Cemetery in Leming, Texas.

Mrs. Baskin was born February 26, 1936, in La Laja, Panama to parents, Joaquin Rivera and Ofilda (Decerega) Rivera, and passed away April 12, 2022 in The Woodlands, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Prax Rivera, Dilsa Fish, Leyda Perez, Danny Rivera, and Minerva Haney.

She is survived by her husband, William K. Baskin, Sr. of Livingston, Texas; son, William K. "Bill" Baskin Jr. and wife, Denise of Crosbyton, Texas; daughter, D. Elaine Linton of Livingston, Texas; son, Allen Baskin and wife, Becky of Hutto, Texas; daughter, Lisa Powers and husband, George of Azle, Texas; siblings, Joaquin Rivera and wife, Rossi, Roger Rivera and wife, Denise all of Lehigh Acres, Florida, Jose Rivera and wife, Daphne of Cancun, Mexico, Ruby Blair of Woodstock, Illinois, Diana Rivera of Panama, Vielka Burgos and husband, Dr. Elioe of Deltona, Florida, Brisy Haskins of Fort Myers, Florida, Eric Rivera and wife, Virginia of Lehigh Acres, Florida, Chela Liao and husband, Emillio of Panama, and Flora Cluggish and husband, Steve of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and a host of friends.
