Graveside services for Luther Freeman Lafferty, 81, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Thursday, October 28, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at the Camp Ruby Cemetery in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Robert Murphy officiating.

Mr. Lafferty was born December 4, 1939 in Corrigan, Texas, to parents, Frank Freeman Lafferty and Bonnie Maxine (Sanders) Lafferty, and passed away October 23, 2021 in Corrigan, Texas. During his life, Mr. Lafferty attended and graduated from Livingston High School. In his spare time, he loved to hunt and fish, but his greatest love was his dog - regardless of anything else. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Norma Jean Lafferty; son, Doyle Calhoun; and daughter, Tessa Nan Lafferty.

He is survived by his sons, Eric Lafferty of Livingston, Texas, Rocky Calhoun of Apple Springs, Texas, Lavon Calhoun of Katy, Texas, Deion Calhoun of Katy, Texas, and Keith Lafferty of Livingston, Texas; grandchildren, Jaden, Tessa, and Eric Jr.; sisters, Martha Johnson and husband, Lee Roy "Buck" and Barbara Warner and husband, Charles of all of Livingston, Texas; and special niece and nephews, Marsha Jordan and husband, Terry, Chris Freeman and husband, David, and David Warner; along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
