Luther Freeman Langley

Graveside services for Luther Freeman Langley, 68, of Pollok, Texas will be held Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., at the Alabama-Coushatta Indian Reservation Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held on the day of service, from 12:00-1:00 p.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas.

Luther was born December 31, 1946, in Livingston, Texas and passed away August 1, 2026, in Lufkin, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Monroe Langley and Stella Sylestine.

He is survived by his sisters, Janie Rhinesmith, Diana Reed, and Evalyn Beard and husband Wesley, all of Livingston, Texas, and Jerilyn Harris and husband Clinton of Spurger, Texas; along with numerous other loved ones and friends.

Pallbearers: Duane Alec, Mason Drappeaux, Clint Harris, Michael Alec, Benjamin Reed, and Randy Robinson.

Honorary pallbearers: Thorvald Drappeaux and Calletano Padilla.
