Obituary
Graveside services for Luther Thomas Thompson Sr., 83, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Friday, March 6, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Peebles Cemetery in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Tim Thompson officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, March 6, 2015 beginning at 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Mr. Thompson was born July 25, 1931 in Satin, Texas to parents, Ludvik Thompson and Kate (Thomas) Thompson, and passed away March 4, 2015 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Myrtle Thompson; and sister, Lena Rose Thompson.
He is survived by his daughters, Sue Sprayberry and husband, Leo of Corrigan, Texas, Pam Cude and husband, Mickey of Livingston, Texas, Bessie Lindsay and husband, Bobby of Cleveland, Texas; sons, Luther Thompson, Jr., Tim Thompson and wife, DeeAnn, all of Livingston, Texas; granddaughters, Katie Cude of Austin, Texas, Sherry Hughes and husband, Ken of Corrigan, Texas, Jordy Thompson and Zoe McDowell, both of Livingston, Texas; grandsons, Frank Sprayberry and wife, Jessica of San Diego, California, Zach Thompson of Livingston, Texas, Matt Lindsay and wife, Jamie, Josh Lindsay and wife, Michelle, all from The Woodlands, Texas; five great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Thompson and wife, Katherine of Livingston, Texas; sister, Helen Rogers and husband, Dewey of Waco, Texas; sister, Dorothy Young and husband, Preston of Shepherd, Texas; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Linda and Lee Groce of Tarkington, Texas; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Violet and Jerry Hansbro of Tarkington, Texas; special sons, Jimmy Bowen and David Bowen both of Livingston, Texas; special friend, Janie Kessler; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
