Lydia Glendon Hudson, age 89, formerly of Leggett, TX, went home to be with the Lord on November 27, 2010, in Eunice, LA.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2010, at 11:00 a.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, TX, with Rev. Tim Thompson officiating. Visitation will precede the service from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at the Jones Prairie Cemetery in Leggett, Texas.

Mrs. Hudson is survived by her two daughters, Barbara Pedigo Laramore and husband Neil of Eunice, LA, and Glenda Pedigo Wheelis and husband Jim of Laurel, MS; daughters by marriage, Janie Wood of Karnack, TX, Ima Jean Hawley and husband Jerry of Longview, TX, and Diann Doyle and husband Johnny of Houston, TX; sisters, Marie Roll of Beaumont, TX, Ruby Perry of Corrigan, TX, and Helen Stuckey of Grapeland, TX. In addition, Mrs. Hudson has twelve grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews and many loving friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Eugene Hudson; former husband, Aubrey Ray Pedigo; her parents, Richard and Helen Smith; two brothers, C.W. Smith and R.J. Smith; two sisters, Callie Mae Smith and Ethel Parrish; and four brothers-in-law.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons.
