Mrs. Lynda Joyce Maxey, 69, of Livingston, Texas was born September 3, 1951 in Livingston, Texas to parents, James Hopson and Syble Joyce (Peters) Hopson, and passed away August 20, 2021 in Livingston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roger Maxey; and brothers, Richard Hopson and Leonard Wilkerson.

She is survived by her daughter, Julie Harless and husband, John of Livingston; daughter, Mary Reyes of Livingston; brothers, Bruce Ray Hopson and wife, Ann, and Michael Ray Hopson all of Livingston; granddaughter, Hope Kaylyn Flores; and grandsons, Joshua Dale Hartman, Nickolas Eric Hartman, Elijah Keaton Harless, and Felix Angel Rodriguez; along with numerous great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at the Hopson family residence in Goodrich, Texas on Sunday, September 5, 2021.
