Funeral services for Lynda Charlene Strait age, 45, of Onalaska, Texas will be held Friday September 11, 2009 at 10:00am in the chapel of Cochran Funeral Home in Onalaska, with Bro. John Stone officiating and interment to follow in Rosewood Cemetery in Houston, Texas at 2:00pm. Pallbearers will be T.J. Strait, Adam Yates, Nathan Carlton, James Chandler, Jacob Wilderman, and Rick Doyle. Honorary Pallbearers will be Steven Dunbar, Tim Wilderman and Larry Wilderman.

She was a form board member of Onalaska ISD for 8 years, member of the PTA, member of the Band Boosters and a Girl Scout and Cub Scout Leader.

She was born July 28, 2009 in Baltimore, Maryland the daughter of Jim Wilderman and Charlene Stone Wilderman and passed away September 5, 2009 in Livingston, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her father, David Haislip, her grandfather, J.B. Stone, George Massey, step grandfather, A.B. Strait, father in law, and Joyce Strait, mother in law.

She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Thomas Strait of Onalaska, Sarah Strait, daughter of Onalaska, T.J. Strait, son of Onalaska, Charlene & Mark Sockel, mother & spouse of Taylorville, Illinois, Jim Wilderman, father of Decatur, Illinois, Timmy & Christy Wilderman, brother & sister in law of Decatur, Illinois, Larry & Gina Wilderman, brother and sister in law, of Taylorville, Illinois, Donnie Stone, grandmother of Salem, Arkansas, Glen & Marie Bethune, brother in law & sister in law, of Onalaska, Texas, Mike Bethune, brother in law of Willis, Texas and many aunts, uncles & cousins.
