Funeral services for Lyndon Tib Gilbert Sr., 80, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Pastor Richard Clark and Pastor Davey Dallmeyer officiating. Interment will follow in the Farley Chapel Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Monday, October 18, 2021, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., in the Cochran Funeral Home.

Mr. Gilbert was born June 17, 1941 in Livingston, Texas, to parents, Tib Gilbert and Blanche (Everett) Gilbert, and passed away October 13, 2021 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; one sister; three brothers; grandson, Brandon Keen; granddaughter, Victoria Mendenhall; and great grandson, Jonathan Gilbert.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Gilbert of Onalaska, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Jerry Keen of Shepherd, Texas; son, Lyndon Gilbert Jr. of Alto, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Carlton and Judy Bailes of Dallas, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Check and Dianna Bailes of Colorado; daughter and son-in-law, Molly and Kenneth Rosier of Hearne, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Delton Casner of Onalaska, Texas; daughter, Shellie Davis of Onalaska, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Patti and Taft Snow of Old Ocean, Texas; and daughter, Debra Cady of Old Ocean, Texas; 30 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
