Funeral services for Mack Coats, 79, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Thursday, December 3, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mr. Coats was born September 29, 1941 in Cleveland, Texas, to parents, Lawerence Preston Coats and Sarah Lorienne (Downs) Coats, and passed away November 28, 2020 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jerry Coats; 4 brothers and 1 sister.

He is survived by his sons, Wade Parker and wife, Lisa of Livingston, Christian Coats of Houston, and Jeremy Coats and wife, Pam of Livingston; grandchildren, Jocelyn Coats and Jordan Coats; brother, Jack Coats of Cleveland; and special family friend, Jeanette Oliver of Livingston; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mr. Coats' name to the Special Olympics.

The family requires that anyone wishing to attend the service, must practice social distancing and wear a facial covering.
