Funeral services for Madgie Inez Thrasher, 66, of Goodrich, Texas will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Grandview Funeral Home in Pasadena, Texas. Interment will follow in the Grandview Cemetery in Pasadena, Texas. Visitation will be held at the Grandview Funeral Home in Pasadena, Texas on Monday, August 15, 2016 from 5:00 -8:00 p.m.
Mrs. Thrasher was born on February 3, 1950 in Galena Park, Texas to parents, Robert E. Gerhart and Eva Mae (Grant) Gerhart, and passed away August 10, 2016 in Goodrich, Texas. During her life, she enjoyed going to Colorado for the summers. She had been making that trip for 25 years. She was a Christian lady. To her, her family was everything. She loved her children and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Glen Thrasher Jr. of Goodrich, Texas; daughter, Melody Robinson and husband, Bobby Ray of Shore Acres, Texas; daughter, Sharon Williams and husband, Collin of Montivella, Alabama; daughter, Terra Davis and husband, Shane of Deer Park, Texas; son, Glen David Thrasher of Goodrich, Texas; grandchildren, Sierra, Cole, Von, Varick, and Vivian; sister, Edie of New Waverly, Texas; brother, Robert Grant Gerhart of New Waverly, Texas; brother, Wayne Gerhart of Conroe, Texas; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
