Funeral services for Mae Ola Parker, 93, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Monday, May 1, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., at the First Methodist Church in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Bryan Wooten and Rev. Joel McMahon officiating. Interment will follow at the Ford Cemetery in Newton County, Texas. Visitation will be Monday, May 1, 2023, from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., at the First Methodist Church in Livingston, Texas.

Mrs. Parker was born November 12, 1929 in Lunita, Louisiana and passed away April 22, 2023 in Livingston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Perkins and Ruby (Berry) Perkins Youngblood; and husband, Rev. Leo B. Parker.

She is survived by her daughter, Peggy Wooten of Livingston, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Edward R. "Buddy" and Lucy Parker of Livingston, Texas; daughter, April Parker of Livingston, Texas; grandchildren, Tina Parker, Bryan Wooten and Gina, Karrie Shealy and Kyle, and Chad Wooten and Beth; great grandchildren, Parker Shealy, Levi Shealy, Caleb Wooten, Ella Wooten, and Josiah Wooten; sister and brother-in-law, Joy and Doug Booth of Kirbyville, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Etta and Jim Dubose of Bon Wier, Texas; and brother and sister-in-law, Josh and Fleta Youngblood of Kirbyville, Texas; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

The family gives a special thank you to the staff at TheraCare Home Health Services, The Bradford at Brookside, and First Quality Hospice.
