Obituary
Funeral services for Margie Louella Johnson, 92, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Mike Meadows officiating. Interment will follow in the Camp Ruby Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 14, 2016 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Mrs. Johnson was born May 21, 1924 in Marlin, Texas to parents, Leonard Taylor and Evie (Wiggington) Taylor, and passed away September 12, 2016 in her home in Livingston, Texas. During her life, she was raised in the Temple, Texas area. Margie was a lifelong resident of Indian Springs and the owner of the Johnson Rock Shop. She will be greatly missed both locally and internationally. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, L.B. Taylor; sisters, Grace, Pearl, Pauline, and Gladys; and son, Jacky Johnson.
She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Otis Johnson; son, Stephen Johnson and wife, Yvonne; son, John Johnson and wife, Carol; son, Dr. Thomas Johnson and wife, Karen; daughter, Linda Sexton and husband, John; sister, Bobbie Conrad; 8 grandchildren; 2 step-grandsons; 21 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
