Funeral services for Margie Mae Kight, 79, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Pine Forest Baptist Church in Onalaska, Texas with Pastor Robert Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery in Onalaska, Texas. Visitation will be held Friday, October 10, 2014 between 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Onalaska, Texas.
Margie Mae Kight, was born December 5, 1934. She passed away in her daughter's home in Humble, Texas at 4:15pm in the afternoon, on Wednesday, October 8, 2014.
Margie was a strong woman of unwavering faith. She raised four children as the wife of an Air force Sergeant, traveling all over the world. She loved her country, the military, Christmas, reading, anything in the color of red. She was a strong proponent of making family memories for her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family. But most of all she loved her family, and her Lord Jesus, who is her Savior, and her best friend. She always felt she had a special place in His heart.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Agnes Pollard, sister, Lela Deal, and brothers Bill, Paul, and Gerald Pollard. Late husband, George Mills, Daughter, Margaret Fowler, and Great granddaughters, Evelyn Mills and Kylie Robinson. She is survived by: her husband, Adrian Kight. And her children, Son, Danny Mills and wife Jackie, Daughter, Debbie Williams and husband, Robert and son Eddie Mills. Seven Grandchildren, David Carlson, Danny Mills, Jr., Jennifer Mitchell, Joseph Mills, Katy Robinson, Robby Williams, and Annie Williams. Seven Great-grandchildren, Emily Mills, Taylor Carlson, Sage Mitchell, Jonah Robinson, Peyton Robinson, and baby Robinson due in April, and brothers John and Jim Pollard.
