Margie Jones, 85, of Livingston, TX, passed away on October 08, 2022, after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Margie was born on March 30th, 1937, to George and Mable Parsley of Granbury, Texas. In 1955 she met her husband Charles Rayburn Jones and they wed on October 1, 1955, in Fort Worth, Texas. They were blessed to have just celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary. Margie loved their two daughters, Melinda Rae Jones and Patti Janice Jones. After retiring in 2000, she spent her time enjoying her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and serving the Lord in her local church. Margie was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mable Parsley (Granbury, Texas); brother, John Robert Parsley (Granbury, Texas).
She is survived by her husband, Charlie Jones of Livingston, Texas; daughters, Melinda Jones Ingvardsen and husband Michael R. Ingvardsen of Livingston, Texas, and Patti Janice Foster and husband Mark W. Foster of Cypress, Texas; sister, Billye Pat Miller of Livingston; grandchildren, Stephanie Renee Cates and husband Melvin Cates of Chelsea, Alabama, Paul Ryan Foster and wife Rachel Foster of Cypress, Texas, Stephen Charles Foster and wife Kayleen Foster of Cypress, Texas, Cass Michael Ingvardsen of Cypress, Texas; great grandchildren, Tanner Michael Cates, Tyler Ray Cates, Emma Grace Foster, Allie Faith Foster, Carter Hope Foster, Briggs Roy Ingvardsen and Baker Anthony Ingvardsen; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Celebration of Life will be held at Cochran's Funeral Home in Livingston Texas on October 11th at 11:00 a.m. with visitation at 10:00 a.m.
Pallbearers: Stephanie Cates, Cass Ingvardsen, Paul Foster, Stephen Foster, Tanner Cates, Hoss Melton, Mark Foster, and Michael Ingvardsen.
Honorary Pallbearers: Joy Sunday School Class of Central Baptist Church.
Special thanks to the staff of St. Joseph Hospice.
