Funeral services for Margie Kathleen Shine, 88, of Corrigan, Texas, will be held Friday, May 13, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the First United Methodist Church in Corrigan, Texas with Blu Wiekel officiating. Interment will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery in the Barnum Community in Corrigan, Texas. Visitation will be held Friday, May 13, 2016 beginning at 10:00 a.m., until the service begins, in the First United Methodist Church in Corrigan, Texas.

Mrs. Shine was born February 16, 1928 in Whitetop, Virginia to parents, James Roby Greer and Emaline (Sheets) Greer, and passed away May 10, 2016 in Lufkin, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Shine; son, Charlie Tilson; parents; and 13 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her daughter, Kay Griffin and John of Corrigan, Texas; grandsons, Joel Griffin and Kristi of the The Woodlands, Texas and Josh Griffin and Tara of Houston, Texas; stepdaughter, Kathy Shine of Houston, Texas; daughter-in-law, Sally Harris of Houston, Texas; great grandchildren, Emma, Reagan, Lilly, and Harrison; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
