Funeral services for Maria DeLosAngeles Ayala, 94, Livingston, Texas will be held Sunday, August 23, 2026, at 12:30 p.m., at the Iglesia Casa De Oracion Church in Livingston, Texas with Pastor Daniel Arenas officiating. Interment will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be from 10:00 am – 11:30 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas.

Maria was born November 1, 1931, in Brownsville, Texas to parents Jose Angel Ayala and Blacida (Rodriguez) Ayala and passed away August 20, 2026, in Livingston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Ruben Gutierez; and daughter, Sarah Garcia Monteleone.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Charles Smith and Hortencia of Houston, Texas; daughter, Blanca Trejo of Livingston, Texas; along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members and a host of friends.

Maria will be escorted to her grave by pallbearers Faustino Solares, Arturo Bello, Lee Villanueva, Louis Trejo, Juan Villanueva and Robert Hollander.
