Marilyn was born September 30, 1954 in Hastings, Nebraska and passed away September 22, 2023 in Livingston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Allen: father, Roy Oland Brown; and mother, Evelyn Ebert.

She is survived by her sons, Brian Nickels, Clint Nickels and wife Laura, and Johnathan Nickels, all of Livingston, Texas; daughter, Charlotte Hancey and husband Ben of Ogden, Utah; son, Brandon Allen and wife Maria of Houston, Texas; grandson, Jonathan Nickels of Houston, Texas; granddaughters, Jazzmin Nickels and husband Bobby of Odessa, Texas, Alyssa Nickesl of Clear Lake, Texas, Riley Nickels of Livingston, Texas, and Ciara Nickels of Livingston, Texas; grandson, Korben Nickels of Livingston, Texas; granddaughter, Presley Nickels of Livingston, Texas, grandsons, Landen Nickels of Livingston, Texas and Ethan Hancey of Ogden, Utah; granddaughters, Clara Hancey and Meredith Hancey, both of Ogden, Utah; grandson, Christian Allan of Houston, Texas; granddaughter, Charleigh Allen of Houston, Texas; grandson, Aiden Michel of Houston, Texas; and great grandchildren, Londyn McDuffie, J'Carter McDuffie, Bobby McDuffie, JaTabeon McDuffie, Emery Jo Hearren, and Everett Nickels; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
