Funeral services for Mario Johnson Garcia, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Pastor Don Goodwin officiating. Interment will follow at the Alabama-Coushatta Reservation. Visitation will also be held October 25, 2022, from 1:30-2:00 p.m. at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, before the service.

Mario was born January 19, 1957 in Houston, Texas, to parents, Martin Perez Garcia and Wanda Faye (Johnson) Garcia, and passed away October 20, 2022 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his sisters, Matilda Garcia and Melinda Hornsby.

Mr. Garcia is survived by his sisters, Amelia Mason and husband Thomas of Henderson, Texas and MinerVa Ponch of Livingston, Texas; brother, Dario Garcia of Livingston, Texas; cousin, Rowena Morgan; along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
