Obituary
Graveside services for Marion Griffin, 60, of Shepherd, Texas, will be held Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. in the Restland Memorial Park Cemetery in Livingston, Texas with his dear friend, Pastor Leon Williams officiating.
Mr. Griffin went home to Paradise on June 25, 2016. He has left to miss him every minute his adoring wife, Angie Griffin; and loving son, Ryan Robertson. He is preceded in death by his beloved father, Edgar Shute of Elizabeth City, North Carolina.
Marion was born in Chester County, Pennesylvania. He worked hard from the age of 12 as a heavy equipment operator, truck driver, dairy farm manager, industrial maintenance supervisor, machinist, excellent auto mechanic, and what he loved most – a builder. Marion could build or fix anything! And he loved to fish!
Marion never met a stranger and leaves many friends to remember his jokes, his stories and his smile. "I love you my little Papa. Thank you for 20 years of love and happiness. I was very lucky to have you." – Angie Griffin.
Hi pallbearers will be "his boy", Ryan; his "big brother", Leroy Owens; and "treasured friends", Jerry Supple, Floyd Rollins, and Mark Schumacker
