Funeral services for Marion David VanWagner, 98, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Steve Waldrep officiating. Interment will follow in the VanWagner Family Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 4, 2020, from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m., before the service, in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Mr. VanWagner was born September 18, 1921 in Rogers, Arkansas, to parents, James Guy VanWagner and Bessie Ellen (Brown) VanWagner, and passed away December 22, 2019 in Groesbeck, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dorothy VanWagner; and daughter, Jaqueline Corley. During his life, Mr. VanWagner was a member of the Trinity Masonic Lodge #14 A.F. & A.M.
He is survived by his granddaughters, Lee Anne Steininger of Groesbeck, Texas, Lou E. Dickens of Centerville, Tennessee, and Lynn M. Guntner of Charlestown, West Virginia; great granddaughters, Kristen Torinese of Groesbeck, Texas, Amanda Myles of Nunnelly Tennessee, Holly Dickens of Nunnelly, Tennessee, Rachel Guntner of Charlestown, West Virginia, and Kendall Guntner of Charlestown, West Virginia; great-great-great grandchildren, Ariana Myles, Marchelle Myles, Corleigh Shriver, Caden Torinese, Armania Dickens, and Ladainian Myles; along with many other relatives, and friends.
