Funeral services for Marjeanne Pratt Gibson age 67 of Livingston, Texas will he held Monday, January 17, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the Soda Baptist Church in Soda, Texas. Interment to follow in the Midway Cemetery in Livingston. Visitation starts at 5:00 PM Sunday at the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston.

She was born March 5, 1943 in Polk County, Texas the daughter of Oscar R. Platt and Elsie Vaudine Shirley Platt and passed away January 14, 2011 in Lufkin, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband: Kenneth Gibson, Sr., her father, a grandson: Matthew Goff, and a nephew: Gary Peden.

Marjeanne is survived by Judi and Robert Manning, daughter and son-in-law of Opelika, Alabama, Beverly and Victor Goff, daughter and son-in-law of Chunchula, Alabama, Kenneth Gibson, Jr., son of Livingston, Texas, grandchildren, Jeremy Manning of Opelika, Heather and Jessie Waits of Opelika, Daniel Goff of Chunchula, Madison Goff of Chunchula, mother, E. Vaudine Platt of Flint, Texas, brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Sissy Platt of San Antonio, Texas, sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Earshel Peden of Flint, Texas, 3 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
