Funeral Services for Marjorie Temple Sylestine, age 70, of Livingston, Texas will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, October 8, 2011 at the Presbyterian Church in Livingston, Texas with Elder Debra Battise-Kleinman, CLP officiating. Interment will follow in the Alabama-Coushatta Indian Reservation Cemetery in Livingston. Visitation is Friday, October 7, 2011 from 5 PM - 9 PM at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Pallbearers are Darth Battise, Nick Battise, Garrique Robinson, William Robinson, Jacob Robinson, Jesse Espinosa, Matthew Sylestine, and Colson Alec.

She was born October 14,1940 in Livingston, Texas to Ashley Battise and Bessie Alec and passed away on October 4, 2011 in Beaumont, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ashley Battise and Bessie Alec, son, Galen Sylestine, 2 great grandsons, Cain and Jaymen Robinson, brothers, Judson Battise and Thurman Battise, sister, Lillian Battise.

Marjorie is survived by William Sylestine, husband, Bethel and Gabriel Hernandez, Jr., daughter and son-in-law, Stacie Sylestine, daughter, Len and Connie Sylestine, son and daughter-in-law, Weaver Battise, aunt, Garrique Robinson, grandson, William Robinson, grandson, Jacob Robinson, grandson, Matthew Sylestine, grandson, Colson Alec, grandson, Dominc Alec, grandson, Devon Sylestine, grandson, Camryn Sylestine, granddaughter, Jamie Alec, great grandson, Gabriella Robinson, great granddaughter, William Bryson Robinson, great grandson, Tairia Robinson, great granddaughter, Izabella Robinson, great granddaughter.
