Funeral services for Mark Steven Hamilton, 67, of Houston, Texas will be held Thursday, October 9, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Mike Loftin officiating. Interment will follow at the Peebles Cemetery in Livingston, Texas.

Mr. Hamilton was born October 14, 1957, in Houston, Texas and passed away October 3, 2025, in Houston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his father, Clovis Hamilton.

He is survived by his daughter, Alecia Starr Hamilton and Edgar Lester of Houston, Texas; mother, Wilma Faye Hamilton of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, De'Prince Butler, Ale'yah Butler, and Devin Kane Lester; brother, Rock Hamilton and Lisa of Canyon Lake, Texas; brother, Forrest Hamilton of Houston, Texas; nephew, Cory Hamilton of Houston, Texas; and aunt, Dene Courtney of Illinois; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
