Memorial services for Marselino "Larry" Lara, 84, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas.

Mr. Lara was born June 2, 1931 in Angleton, Texas to parents, Silverio Lara and Conceptcion (Robles) Lara, and passed away April 2, 2016 at her home in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; grandchild, Trey Garrison; brothers, Lupe Lara, Alfred Lara, Santos Lara, and Moies Rosales; sisters, Theresa Perez and Vincenta Estrada.

He is survived by his wife, Lupe Lara of Livingston, Texas; daughters, Marsha Maddox and Gary of Houston, Texas, Joyce Garrison and Dave of Livingston, Texas, Lily Villarreal of Livingston, Texas, and Juanita Lara of Chicago, Illinois; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; sister, Florence Lambert of Pebulo, Colorado; and numerous other relatives and friends.
