Memorial services for Martha Mae Borgfeld, 74, of Livingston, Texas, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 7, 2019 in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Kenneth Jackson officiating.

Mrs. Borgfeld was born February 19, 1945 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to parents, Ernest Faye Clairday Sr., and Opal (Paxton) Clairday, and passed away August 28, 2019 in Palestine, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Junior Clairday and Alvin Clairday; and sister, Dorothy Owen.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Borgfeld Sr. of Livingston; son, Kenneth Borgfeld Jr. of Magnolia; daughter, April Bell and husband, Michael of Livingston; granddaughter Tabetha Borgfeld of College Station; grandson, Tyler Bell of Livingston; brothers and sisters-in-law, Walter and Bonnie Borgfeld of Lufkin, and Jimmy and Nelda Borgfeld of New Braunfels; sisters-in-law, Sherry Clairday of Katy, and Connie Borgfeld of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and brother-in-law, David Owen of Navasota; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flower, donations may be made in Ms. Martha's honor to the Alzheimer's Association or a tree may be planted to carry on her legacy.
